Ok, we celebrated our 6th anniversary camping. That was appropriate since that is how we spent our honeymoon! The kids LOVED it!!! And so did we. Bear Lake, California was a pretty place. It reminded me fondly of Lakeside, AZ. Well, enough of the chit chat, we all know that it is the pictures that are the fun parts to look at!

It is time.........
Ok, so at this point it is a miracle that I haven't forgotten the log in let alone my password to this thing! I have had many many comments about my lack of blogginess and so for my absence, I apologize!! I would like to say that we haven't had much to report so that is my reason for the lack of postings but that would be a total lie. We have been so busy and full of amazing times that I now feel even more guilty for not sharing!!! The quickest item of business to point out is the fact that I am yet again pregnant. We are very excited for the new addition, especially Kaden. Trenton is now entering his final semester of any class at all......he will only have classes on Tuesdays then the rest of the week he works in his clinic!! We are so excited for this final semesters and how quickly they seem to be falling behind us! In the past month or so we have had Trenton's birthday. Happy belated blog birthday honey!! Then we have had Truston's birthday, whom has had a fantastic month, let alone a singular special day.(Pictures to follow....) Plus we had a trip to Arizona and lots of cousin time on the Hansen side.....So yes, that is a brief covering of the past 5 months. I know I have missed so so so so much but hey.......whatcha gonna do with a pregnant lady? Here are some pictures of our not so distant past conquests:
Truston's 'birthday party' in Arizona with his Hansen cousins!

Did I mention Easter??

Truston's Birthday

at.......DISNEYLAND!!!
He was so excited that he couldn't keep his mouth closed for the first half hour.
His favorite ride was the StarWars ride of all things but he loved driving the car too. Plus, Trenton took him back to California Adventures a week later because it was part of the tickets we were able to get. Hey, we are finally taking advantage of a few California attractions.

Then we all went to SeaWorld:
Now SeaWorld was particularly fun. Especially when Taryn scolded Shamu for about 5 minutes for getting her wet. That girl can give dirty looks. Plus, Kaden was able to get on the Journey to Atlantis roller coaster by some miracle. He was only about 5 inches too short. He loved it!!! The kids loved Shamu and the Dolphin shows, good thing we upgraded to season passes cuz they want to go back!

Fighting the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)
I hope that as a people we can prevent the FOCA from being signed into law by Pres. Elect Obama when he becomes president. He has already promised Planned Parenthood that he will... now it is up to us to make sure that he doesn't have the chance. Please watch this video and contact your elected officials to let your voice be heard. I have already done it at least once and I am going to do it again.

Picture time!

Our 2008 Family Christmas picture. Isn't Truston's face, just well, so Truston?
Hmmm since we made a last minute decision to go to Arizona for Thanksgiving, I had a turkey and some fixin's to make up so here are the boys eating their first turkey leg. They did a good job too, I was impressed.
Yummy.
The gingerbread house that I made. I thought Truston was excited to help me make a gingerbread house. Nope, he just wanted to eat the candy so I was left to make the house on my own. It only lasted a few days because I have two sugar hungry boys who circled it like vultures on roadkill. (Nice mental picture I know but really, it is the most accurate)
The boys waiting for the 'ok' to devour the house..........
Ah, the wait is over and so is the house! Oh well, we'll make another next year....
Taryn was deciding if she liked gingerbread and she didn't want her picture taken while she was deciding.
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything of the kids or what not so here are some pics of what we have been up to!

Playin Hookie
Ok, so I'm keeping us all home from church today except for Trenton who thinks that there never is a good reason to miss church. Now, you may be wondering why I am keeping us home? Well, it's because of the crazy huge fire(s) burning as close to 4 miles away from us. The fires started out being two by they merged into one during the night. The air quality is terrible! I fear that Kaden's asthma will flare up plus Taryn already has a cough going on. I'm just being a mother hen I guess but when I look out the window and see the ash fluttering down in big chunks I know that staying inside is our ONLY option. Here are some pics that I took yesterday afternoon only about 3 hours after the fires started by us. These are pictures taken at 2 o'clock from our home and it looks like dusk outside. Plus that little orange dot is the sun. Scary times! Plus on a extra sad note. These fires consumed my favorite drive. Mom, Tina, that pretty drive I always brought you back to my place from the airport, you know, the one through the Canyon? Well, it's now all been burned. I am very sad.
